FATED TO LOVE YOU (Philippine Version)

Sino nga ba ang makakalimot sa love story na ito na may comedy at drama pa? Well, for me.. It's one of my favorite Asian Drama that captured my attention, and I know that you hooked up too.

Ang mga characters na hinding hindi rin natin malilimutan ay sina Cindy (played by Joe Chen), the unfashionable sticky-note-girl. Steven (played by Ethan Ruan), the papable boss. Dylan (played by Baron Chen), the religious kind guy, Anna (played by Bianca Bai), the busy girlfriend of Steven, and other characters like Grandma, Anson.. etc.

Philippines' is well-known for remaking some Asian Dramas, mostly Koreanovelas. But this one is a Taiwanese Drama.  Why don't GMA Network remake this wonderful drama? I'm sure it will be a big hit too as well as they televise the original of it.

Here are my some suggestions for the different roles and some changes for the story...

Joe Chen is a petite woman.. So I guess, petite woman should play the role too in the Philippine version. Some of Kapuso actresses that fit for the role are Heart Evangelista, Kris Bernal, Sheena Halili, Bianca King, Marian Rivera, or Carla Abellana.

In the story, Cindy's Surname is Chen. In the Philippine remake, my suggestion is De Dios. What an innocent surname. Watya think? :)

Well, let's review the possible actresses who can play the role of Cindy..




Heart Evangelista.. She is a classy actress, perfect for the role.. Heart is also a dramatic actress and can do effectively in comedy too. Sosy Problems is the evidence. Heart also played "Jessie" in the Philippine remake of "Full House", so I think, she can nail this role, superbly.

Kris Bernal.. This actress can be our Cindy too. With her dramatic and comedic skills in acting, I think she can play the role. She already played "Andy" of "Coffee Prince" Pinoy version, opposite to her love team Aljur Abrenica.

Sheena Halili.. This actress also fits the role. She can do drama and comedy at the same time. Her face is just perfectly fit for the role, what a charming and cute Cindy of the Philippines will be when she plays the role.. hopefully.

Bianca King.. This actress can be a nerd? OH YES! She already played that in the movie "Working Girls" and she is too sexy for that. With her acting skills, she is perfect, she also shown her comedienne side on the movie "Sosy Problems".

Marian Rivera.. The Primetime Queen of the Philippines is the best actress for teledrama remakes. The success of Marimar, Endless Love & Temptation of Wife is the evidence. She could play this role, but I think she needs to rest first and give way to other Kapuso actress for this role.

Carla Abellana.. This actress can play a nerd too. She is cute when she's doing comedy, seen her on Bubble Gang. And when it comes to dramatic scenes? This white beautiful lady is a real gem. Also good to play the Pinoy Version of Cindy.

Who's gonna be the Filipino Steven?

I've been thinking of five Kapuso Leading Men who's fit for this role.. And the those actors are Dennis Trillo, Aljur Abrenica, Steven Silva, Dingdong Dangtes & Geoff Eigenmann.

In the story. Steven's surname is Ji. Well, why don't we use another Chinese surname.. Replace it with "Sy". :)

Let's review the actors!

Dennis Trillo.. This actor is really sexy and handsome. Close enough to Ethan Ruan. He can do comedy too, as well as drama. Perfectly fit for the role of a masungit na boss and a loving boyfriend "Steven".

Aljur Abrenica.. The ultimate kapuso hunk is ideal for this role too. He played effectively as a rich kid in the Philippine version of "Coffee Prince", so I think he can manage this role too, maybe along with his love team again, Kris.

Steven Silva.. Starstruck V's ultimate male survivor Steven can be the Pinoy Steven too. Other than the fact that his name is the same as the main character's name. His face is also synonymous to Ethan Ruan. But he need to straighten his tagalog first, sayang.

Dingdong Dantes.. Marian Rivera's boyfriend is also a good choice for this role. Automatically, when he plays the role Steven, Marian will be the Cindy. Another DongYan series. AGAIN.

Geoff Eigenmann.. We all know that this cool dude is Carla's boyfriend. And I think that he will play this role effectively too, but the problem is, his height. Steven is quite a bit tall. Another sayang.
